So proud of my youngest, Johnny! He finished those classes he needed to make up and graduated. Now he is starting at the University of Alaska fall semester. Johnny and Brttany are taking a trip to Europe first...flying from Anchorage -it is a new route over the north pole!

Family News

Let's see...so far this summer:

Kim, Scotty and Hannah came down from Alaska to visit. We enjoyed our time with them, but it rained the whole time here in Florida and was sunny bk in Alaska! What is with that??!! We took Hannah to Disney World. It was fun seeing it through her eyes! We were all water-logged! Never been to Disney where it rained cats and dogs! Rocky was smart to stay home! Actually, he was recovering from a heart cath. He is fine. Checked out and he has no heart problems! thank you God...

Tammi, one of Rocky's sisters, was also just here for a visit. We spent some time shopping, going to the pool, and eating out. Tiffany, my stepdaughter, joined us for some of these activities. Tammi got to meet Jordan, Tiff's boyfriend.

Tiff and Jordan are expecting a baby girl on Halloween! Tiff graduates from University of Florida in Dec. with degrees in Psychology and Finance. after a short break, she is going on to nursing school.

We are planning a baby shower on July 26 for Tiff and Jordan. It will be a reunion of sorts. Rocky's mom, Dixie and his sisters will all be here as well as a few nephews, boyfriends, etc...also attending will be tiff's mom, Linda, and tiff's grandma Peggy. The shower will be held in our clubhouse and we will combine that with a pool party.

Also during that time, we will celebrate Tammy's 49th b'day (July 22) and Rocky's 52 (July 24) with a combined party at Texas Roadhouse on July 25th. Fun, fun, fun!

Rocky and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary on June 23. Fast 3 yrs! We went to the pool for hrs and then out for a romantic dinner. We also made a trip to North Carolina this summer to visit Dixie, and my awesome sisters in law!

Father's Day tiff and I took rocky out to The Roadhouse for dinner and gave him his gifts. He had a great time although his allergies were reaking havoc!

Catching up on family news

Tiffany is looking forward to springbreak. She has been studying hard as usual and her grades prove it! She has four tests this week. Hopefully, this weekend she can relax a bit, since it will be Valentine's Day as well.

Johnny and Brittany just bought tickets for a trip to Europe in August. They are taking the nonstop flight over the north pole to Frankfurt, Germany. Going to visit: Germany, France, Italy, Greece, etc...they are really excited as you can imagine

Chris and Kass are well. Kassy's mom, Joan just spent several days with them. I think Chris was up on the slope during this visit. Kassy and Joan had some good mom/daughter time. Kassy says she will visit Dad, Mark and Reece when she is in Oklahoma this summer. She has some of her mom's family there as well.

Scotty, Kim and Hannah are fine. Still getting over Ginny's death (Scotty's mom). They will be going to Oklahoma in May where Ginny was from originally. There is a memorial svc there for her. After a few days there, they are on to Texas where Scotty's family has a ranch. After a few days in Tx, they will be coming here for a visit. We can't wait! I am going to spend most of the time in the pool with Hannah!

Rocky's sister, Tammy, is coming for a visit this month for a few days. She lives in Pensacola, so it takes her about five - six hrs to get here. Rocky's mom is coming in April and another friend of the family will visit us either in March or April as well, so it will be a busy spring!

Glad we will see some of the fam this spring, because we won't make our usual trip home to Alaska this summer. Hopefully we will go next year.
